random thoughts

so i often find myself asking the question what do i want to be when i grow up? why do i have to be one thing? why cant i just do it all? thinking about a website for laura does it all (except the name needs work cuz well it could totally sound like a porn site) and one page will be digital scrapbooking, one page will be digital art, one page will be nature photography, one page will be cemetery photography, one page will be bead work, one page for building websites, one page for cleaning grave sites, one page for freelance office work, one page for genealogy, one page for paper making and hand made journals.........and i could just go on and on and on :) so there is my random thoughts for today ~peace and luv~ laura

ok seriously - a week without internet sucks although the library has free internet and it is quiet there for me to work. I goto caught up on a lot of stuff in photoshop since I didnt need the internet for that. also, the apartment management has decided not to work with us anymore and gave us a three day pay or vacate notice. sean is going to go see about charity funding for the money we owe. it sux to be at this point but it is where we are. I told jaymee that if we cannot pull out of this one this time that I will be heading back up on the peninsula because in my heart that is where i want to be. my head says if you are gonna have a job you have to be in the seattle area because that is where the jobs are, but my heart misses the peninsula so much. now i just have to tell my family and friends cuz they are gonna miss me. but sometimes i have to do what is right for me and not everyone else. jesse's big back up plan is to be homeless while waiting for job corps to come through. that takes three to six months and he has not followed through with getting his paperwork in to them so it will not even start counting until he does. I hate having to put him in this situation, but reality he is 21 almost 22 now and has just been a lump on the couch since he dropped out at 18. and yes, i am to blame too because i have let it go on this long. but i am his mom and that is what moms do in my family :) anyway, I am outta here for the day, peace and luv to all, laura

One of my favorites - Quilcene Cemetery

this is one of my all time favorites - it was at Quilcene Cemetery and it was just such a tribute to the person's life. They are not there anymore, there is a regular headstone there now which I dont have a photo of yet. I will have to remember that the next time I go up there. so yeah it has been a busy time for me the last few days..... i went on an interview with an agency, have been working on my first paid scrapbook order, collecting ideas to get the wedding planning website worded correctly and all and decided i will actually do a website/banner/business card type one as well. i will focus on a more retro feel for it - tattoos, bikers, muscle cars, pin up girls, roller derby and rock n roll! and i ran into Michael the other day and he needs a website for his pin-striping that he does so we talked and exchanged cards and such and hopefully i will be his choice for creating his website. so i guess when i grow up i wanna be a wedding planning, scrapbook making, grave site cleaning, web designer. :) now to come up with a card for it all - i just cracked myself up!! anyway, the sun is out and i am gonna try to get some stuff finished up today so that i can take tomorrow off for a car show ~peace and luv to all~ Laura

well i had a phone interview yesterday for a position that i really wanted but they said that they would be calling today to set up in person interviews for tomorrow because they need someone who can start on monday. but i didnt get a call back. maybe because i kept having to ask her to repeat herself - it sounded like she was calling on a cell phone from a busy starbucks so there was a lot of background noise to try to sift through. oh well i still have the attitude that whatever is meant to be will be. in the meantime, i am working hard on promotion of all the fine details and ravens n roses my two websites, and working on details for a third which will be wedding and event planning focusing on staying on a low budget while still having the wedding or event that you have been dreaming about. also thinking about one where i sell digital banners for other people's websites cuz i love making them. anyway, not sure when they will come and cut off my internet but know it will be soon. it is seafair weekend here in the great northwest and i am highly thinking about heading down to check out the hydros and blue angels tomorrow since it is free on friday because it is just practicing for both of them. anyway, have a lot of thoughts to get organized lol until next time, peace and luv to all, laura

well, here it is yet another month with no job, yet another month where i need to contact the management company and see if they will keep working with us so we dont get evicted. the internet will be shut off on thursday and that sux, but there is free wifi at safeway and the library so it will be livable. today, for whatever reason, i have a million ideas for businesses bouncing in my head as well as marketing ideas for the ones i already have going. now i just need $$$$$$ to make it all happen and not lose my apartment and internet and all that kinda stuff we need to live. anyway, back to my brainstorming.............. or as my son calls it Major ADD!!
