fabulous friday to you all

here it is friday, and i have missed a couple days posting this week. oops, sometimes life works that way. i have been doing a lot of graphic work as well as some freelance data entry this week and so family tree research has been put on the back burner. I am hoping to have some time to work on my tree today or at least this weekend. so, on to my story of the day... when i was in like 5th or 6th grade, we had a family living kinda behind us in the apartments. the jaegers. their kids were jeff and julie jaeger. julie was my friend but i totally had a crush on jeff. and he knew it. but we were kids and yeah. so jeff and i kissed a couple of times and we talked and talked. we actually at that point in life had a lot in common. well the time came for them to move away and he gave me this stuffed rabbit that was about 2 1/2 feet long so that i would remember him. the funny thing is - even if they were just crushes - i totally remember all the guys i liked growing up until high school when my mom remarried and dating was out of the question. anyway, i decided to google jeff and julie a few years ago, only to find out that he is/was a pro football player now. i am glad to see that someone that meant something to me at one point really made something of himself. so - now i can say "i knew him when".
