today i have a picture i created out of two pictures. the background is the entrance to an area of highgate cemetery in england. the mourning woman is a photo of a statue from a grave. neither was colored this way in reality. this is how i see it in my mind. all mossy and green and peaceful and the mourning woman just almost colorless. i know when i was deep in mourning for my mother i felt really colorless.
